Advice to a Niece on Her College Graduation, Part 2
Today is Tuesday, so this post makes a positive personal impression.
Yesterday I mentioned that my niece Breton completed the Florida state last week. I have decided to make a series of series, I will give them and other readers this week - with my best advice for career and success in life.
All successful people make positive personal effects. Positive personal effects are like charisma. Others go towards people with positive personal effects. If you make a positive personal effect, Brett, others want to stay close to you. It's like a tragic crowd. I'm sure you remember those women who came from your home and you and your sisters knew that you would offer them after a meeting. The girls were able to positively create personal effects.
There are three keys to making positive personal effects in your career: 1) to develop and maintain your personal brand; 2) To be fair in your own presentation; 3) Learn the rules of etiquette and follow. By managing these three keys, you can create positive personal effects.
Personal Brand is your business card. It separates you from all over the world. I would say a healthy cow. People who know me know that they can trust me for general knowledge which helps them achieve their career and goals. They also know that they can understand and understand this advice easily, and can achieve it, because then I am only one person.
Take the time to build your brand. Think about it like this; Your brand contains two or three words that you want to connect to people often. Decide what you want and make sure that people who come in contact with you think of you in this way. This is important because if you do not brand yourself, others will do it. It's better to control your personal brand which you create for yourself, let others do it for you.
When I think about you, the words that come to my mind are hard work, responsible, funny and fun. You feel that these words describe you very well - or you think I'm out of the base. I do not mind what I think - this means that you want to make an icon for you.
How should people think about you when you start your work? What words would you prefer to describe people? Think about it. Take enough time to make sure everyone else thinks like you.
For example, if you decide that "hard work" is the word that you want to associate with other people, then you're working hard. Make your order timely and timely When you're done with a task, ask for another. Come sooner, stay late. Ask questions to understand the business. Very soon, people will say, "Brett is a hard worker, I do what I want and then asks more."
